DESCRIPTION

Tokyu Grand Oak Golf Club is located in Kato City, Hyogo Prefecture. It takes 4 minutes from Hyogo Tojo IC of Chugoku Expressway by car. It is a high-class golf club placed on the gentle hilly area in the southeastern part of Tojo Lake. The course is generally flat and magnificent, and it is a calm atmosphere Japanese landscape with pine and cypress conifers. The distance between the holes is relatively short and you can round at a good pace. The width of the fairway is as wide as 40 yards on average, and every hole can be played comfortably. So you can fully enjoy it. The green is relatively large as 700 square meters on average, and it is composed of Pen-cross which is the Bent grass.

The famous hole of the front 9 is the 4th hole. It is a par-5 downhill hole with 523 yards. There are two ponds, a creek running between them and a bridge, and the landscape is very beautiful. Various skills are tried in this hole. If you are a long hitter, it is not so difficult to get a par. But if you make a mistake, your score is likely go bad. So the distance and the accuracy are quite important.

The famous hole of the back 9 is the 12th hole. It is a 157 yards par-3. The green is about 1,000 square meters, the largest of the 18 holes, and there are also complicated undulations. So there is a risk of 3 putts and you have to be careful. The feature of back 9 is that there are many dogleg holes (10th, 11th, 13th, 15th and 16th). Especially the 15th par-4 hole is difficult because it is slightly downhill and dogleg to the left. The aim point of the teeing shot is the little right side of the fairway. As the right side of the green is a bunker and the left side is bumps and depressions, you had better drop the ball exactly on the green.

The clubhouse has clean lockers, a restaurant, a bath, and a shop, and you can enjoy a meal while looking the course.
