Seta Golf Course, East Course

Seta Golf Course, East Course is owned by Prince Hotel in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture. It is 2km from Seta Nishi IC on the Meishin Expressway, 10 minutes by car from Ishiyama Station of the JR Tokaido Line. It is easily accessible from both Osaka and Kyoto. The course designed by Seichi Inoue the famous designer was opened in 1967. It is a self-play round with a cart with GPS navigation. In recent years, the gold tee has been set up so that senior players can enjoy it. It is characterized by a beautiful raised green and the sense of distance to the green is important. As there are no shops in the course but you can use vending machines with cash.

The 4th par-3 hole has the valley. The bunker in front of the green is very deep and difficult to escape. The 9th hole is 400 yards par-4. It is a key to aim little left side to get a par because there are 3 bunkers crossing the fairway. The 11th hole is 160 yards par-3. There is a bunker in the back of the green but it is not visible from the teeing shot area, so it is better to approach from the front of the green. The 15th 385 yards par-4 hole is a famous hole. At the drop point of the teeing shot, there is a mountain on the left side and forest on the right side. It is quite difficult because the width of fairway is only 25 yards.
